Upon arriving at La Gare, my expectations for a comfortable stay were met with the hotel's convenient location, just steps away from the train station, and free parking readily available. The room, while basic, was impeccably clean and boasted soundproofed walls, ensuring a peaceful night's rest. The value for money became apparent with the additional perks such as free Wi-Fi and complimentary toiletries, which added a touch of luxury without breaking the bank.The highlight was the charming terrace where I indulged in a delightful breakfast for a small supplemental fee. The option of in-room breakfast service would have been a nice touch, but the cozy coffee shop and lively pub on-site made up for it. The staff, despite my stumbling French, were warm and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience.If you seek a well-priced accommodation with essential amenities and a prime location for exploring the area, La Gare strikes a harmonious balance between affordability and comfort.
